What You'll Need

Everything on this list takes a couple of minutes to gather — then the setup itself is quick.

A MAG box (254, 322, 420, 424, 520, 540…) or Formuler Z series — connected by Ethernet ideally
The box connected to your TV via HDMI and powered on
Your Dark IPTV 4K package — choose one here
Your box's MAC address (on the bottom sticker or in Settings)

Step by Step

Configure Your MAG Portal

Follow these steps in order — most people finish in under 10 minutes.

Find Your MAC Address

Note the MAC address printed on the sticker under the box, or find it in Settings > Device Info. Send it to us on WhatsApp — we register it on the portal.

Open the Portal Settings

On the box go to Settings > System Settings > Servers > Portals.

Name the Portal

Set Portal 1 name to anything you like — for example Dark IPTV 4K.

Enter the Portal URL

In Portal 1 URL type the portal address we send with your activation — exactly as shown, including http:// and any port.

Save and Reboot

Press OK to save, then reboot the box from the settings menu or by power cycling.

Channels Load Automatically

After reboot the portal loads your full live TV list, VOD and EPG — navigate with the remote like a classic cable box.

Problem	Solution
‘STB blocked’ message	The MAC is not registered yet — send it to us on WhatsApp and we activate it within minutes.
Portal loads but list is empty	Reboot the box once more and check the portal URL for typos — one wrong character breaks loading.
Slow zapping between channels	Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi and disable any ‘auto frame rate’ feature your TV struggles with.
Remote lag or freezes	Power-cycle the box weekly and keep vents clear — MAGs run warm in closed cabinets.
EPG missing on some channels	EPG fills over the first hours after portal load; a second reboot refreshes it fully.

MAG or Formuler — which should I buy?

Formuler Z-series boxes are the more modern choice (better guide, catch-up, Android under the hood). Classic MAGs are cheaper and nearly indestructible — both work perfectly with our portal.

Can I use Wi-Fi on a MAG box?

Many MAGs need a USB Wi-Fi dongle and honestly perform best on Ethernet. If running a cable is hard, use powerline adapters for a rock-solid link.

Does MAG support 4K?

Newer models like the MAG 424/520/540 support 4K; older 254/322 are HD-only. For heavy 4K use also consider a Firestick 4K or Nvidia Shield.

One portal on two boxes?

Each box needs its own MAC registered. Ask us about multi-connection pricing if you run several boxes in the house.
